66 shows off its sliding front door, which was locked out of use and accompanied by a “No Entry” legend. It is at what was then the end of Sardis Road, before the bridge was built in the late 1960s making it into a through route.
The continuation of Sardis Road, where the van is emerging, was a narrow lane which was once the route of a tramway to Pwllgwaun Colliery from the Taff Vale Iron Works in Treforest and followed Broadway, for that reason previously known as Tram Road.
