Caught by the camera not long after joining the National Welsh fleet in Aug-1982, HR7438 is probably working a 332. It illustrates the haphazard way these buses were acquired and numbered, registrations only being in order in the blocks of vehicles in which they were acquired.

This was another one to briefly carry the prefix HHR before being renumbered XR1960 in Jan-1983.
