Subject: Bradford C.T. 634 (BAK 934)
Chassis: AEC 661T
Body: East Lancs H35/28R
Location: Bowling depot yard
Date: c.1965

Very near the end of its long life, 634 carries a party of enthusuasts round the yard at Bowling depot, used for initial training of trolleybus drivers.

The road disappearing in the left distance is not Wakefield Road, as might be initially supposed, but Birksland Street. The first bridge carries the Laisterdyke to Bowling line, since closed. Through that can just be seen the bridge carrying the line down to what was, at the time, Bradford Exchange station.

From an original slide in the David Beilby collection, photographer unknown
