Subject: Bradford C.T. 634 (BAK 934) Chassis: AEC 661T Body: East Lancs H35/28R Location: Bankfoot, Rooley Lane Date: 22-Sep-1963
The terminus at Bankfoot was, and still is, a quiet backwater off busy Manchester Road and even as late as 2019 some trolley poles remained, sadly now replaced as part of a new road lighting scheme. Whilst the building to the side of 634 (part of the Red Lion and with a poster helping to date this photo) has gone, the cottages in front still survive.
634 itself was a great survivor. It put in a very creditable twenty-eight years.
