HR1856 has now been renumbered again, as HR856 and is at the far end of the 132 service in Maerdy, with the valley side of the Rhondda Fach in the background. The road over the mountain to Aberdare can be seen well up the hillside.

This view shows the rather awkward low position for the nearside fleet name, dictated by the grille under the second window.
