PND.49-531

Subject: Notts & Derby 348 (NNU 229)
Chassis: BUT 9611T
Body: Weymann H30/26R
Location: Nuthall, Nottingham Road
Date: 1949

348 has left Nottingham and is not too far from the Nottingham city boundary. The grounds to the left were once associated with Nuthall Temple, a grand house completed in 1757 inspired by Palladio's Villa Capra in Vincenza. It became unsustainable and was demolished in a spectacular and public style in 1929 leaving just parts of the shell which were eventually obliterated by the M1.

348 became Bradford 765 after closure of system.
