The crew of 4 are taking a little break before making a run to Glyntaff Estate, as it was called at the time. The advert on the side of the bus is reminiscent of the large broadsie adverts carried by Pontypridd’s buses in earlier times as it stretches almost to the front. However, unlike those earlier adverts it is only a pasted paper advert and seems to have simply been applied rather clumsily in the wrong place.
