This service operated originally to Tennyson Close and started on 23rd November 1970. It was extended to the final terminus at Wordsworth Gardens in February 1974. Whilst latterly it ran via Hawthorn as described below, I have yet to confirm whether it took that route originally.
It would seem that the original terminus was officially known as Glyntaff Estate and the later one as Glantaff. However, not all older buses had new blinds fitted showing Glantaff so the original destination was shown even when no longer strictly accurate.
It left Pontypridd along Broadway to Treforest where it joined Cardiff Road along which it continued to Hawthorn. There it took Fairfield Lane and Poplar Road before climbing up Duffryn Road, continuing along Masefield Way and Wordsworth Gardens.
