Subject: National Welsh HR1777 (SKG 896S) Chassis: Bristol VRT/SL3/501 Body: ECW H43/31F Location: Cardiff, Westgate Street Date: c.1981
The 321 started to run to Blaencwm with the introduction of the MAP scheme revisions on 24th May 1981 and I believe this photograph dates from shortly afterwards. During 1981 the bus station was being rebuilt and services had to be diverted at times to other street terminii, in the case of this service Westgate Street. This view is a rather scarce record of the service running through to Blaencwm - it became the 521 by 1983.
