Just over half an hour after leaving Bishop's Meadow near Brecon the 700 would arrive in Builth Wells where UC677 is stopped. The driver is out of the cab and presumably assisting a passenger with luggage.
Although new as a Red & White vehicle its arrival coincided with the full merger of that company with Western Welsh and it (along with the rest of the batch) never carried Red & White fleet names. It was delivered without any and had Western Welsh ones applied before entry into service. These did not remain long before it became a National Welsh vehicle in Apr-1978.
