The special hospital services were rarely photographed and even here UD676 is in the depot preparing to work the service which seems at this time to have involved the bus running dead to Treherbert to start the 541 working. From 24-May-1981 the Sunday bus started from Blaencwm/Blaenrhondda and could be used for local journeys - this later applied on other days as well.
NWO 451R was originally UC676 in the Red & White fleet and had been downgraded to dual-purpose as UD676 in Nov-1980.
