63 is on one of the Saturday workings to Treharris and the photographer is being eyed carefully by the conductor wearing an Automacheckit (often inaccurately referred to as a Bellgraphic) ticket machine.

At this time just the front windows and destination indicator glass had been rebuilt.

The ramp behind the bus leads up to Pontypridd Town goods station, now a car park.
